Public Information on Blackboard

Certain "public information" is loaded into Northwestern University's Blackboard-based Course Management System (CMS). As a result, the following information is visible to other students enrolled in the class: student's names, official Northwestern University e-mail addresses and enrollment in the class.

You should be aware of how this information will appear, particularly if you have filed a request indicating that you do not want information designated as "public information" under the University's Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) policy to be disclosed.
