Summer Term enrollment processes for Evanston-based undergraduates differ from the regular academic year in the following ways:
- The summer term is comprised of many sessions—shorter time periods with various start and end dates. Sessions are important because they govern drop deadlines and withdrawals. The session title and start/end dates in which a given class is held are listed with the class information in CAESAR.
- Drops after the first week of summer quarter must be accomplished administratively through the Office of the Registrar, even if the class has not yet started.
- Potential refunds for dropping a class depend upon the start/end dates of the session in which the class is held.
