Withdrawal from the University

Students who wish to withdraw from the University after registering for classes in any quarter must file a withdrawal form available in the Office of the Registrar.

Make sure you have read and understand the University's policy with regard to withdrawal. This can be found in the Undergraduate catalog. Financial obligations and deadlines can be found in the class schedule book.

These steps should be followed when filing a withdrawal:

  • Visit the Office of the Registrar and complete the withdrawal form. Be sure to include a complete address, the school from which you are withdrawing and check any of the following that apply to you: student housing, financial aid/student loans.
  • Sign the completed form and leave it with a staff member of the Office of the Registrar. The Registrar's Office will forward the form to the Dean of the school, as well as all of the indicated departments for approval.

Once the form has been returned to the Office of the Registrar, the withdrawal will be processed and a copy of the form will be mailed to the address listed on the form.

The Division of Student Accounts considers the date the completed form is received at the Office of the Registrar as the effective date in making financial adjustments.

Tuition deposits are not refundable under any circumstances.
